Though Fall has barely begun, the fashion world is moving on to Spring.  And if you have been moving on with them, trying to figure out what you will be wearing this next spring, do not fear!  From New York to Paris, London to Milan, the runways of the world have been sharing the trends with all of us.  By following these fabulous trends, you will be dressed for success ….. and any event you may encounter!

Light Blue Denim

Light Blue Denim will be among the many soft and simple designs for the season because Chambray, denim’s lighter cousin, had a strong showing on the spring runways. So, if you’re looking for a relaxed fabric that works with tailored suits, dresses and casual jeans and blouses then don’t be afraid to follow designers like Celine, Thakoon and Derek Lam. Stark Bright Colors

Bright patterns and colors have long been reserved for the summer, but this season it is making a strong statement.  Not only will you see bubble-gum brights and rich jewel tones on shifts, dresses, and tunics, but we even see shorts, blouses and jackets in separate colors that all blend together bold beauty. The Great Outdoors

Now sometimes animal prints “roar” tacky, and leaves on your blouse tell everyone you’ve vacationed in the tropics, but for the spring, designers indulged their primal instincts further than the basic leopard prints. So, though you may be afraid to “branch” out this spring, animal shapes, jungle themes, and feathered skirts will be strong and popular choices. (image: House of Holland Collection)

Sheer Fabrics

Sheer fabrics have always been a favorite in the spring and this season will be no different.  Many designers layered transparent separates over solid underpinnings, with varying levels of modesty. But you don’t have to be to modest, nude bras will be gorgeous under a classic sheer floral blouse as shown above. And paired with floral sandals you will be the epitome of spring! Punk

If you’re a fan of the tomboy look with a splash of feminine why not get Punked next season?  You can go with rough and tough jeans and t’s, but be sure to throw in a little jewelry and some cute flats or boots to add the girly flare.  But don’t forget to add some grit as the designers did!  (image: Balmain Collection)

The 1970′s

Ready to follow the 70′s into retro bohemia?  We are!  So, dive into staples like peasant blouses, floor-grazing skirts, and wide-leg trousers found in the collections from Etro to Salvatore Ferragamo.  But the new 1970′s bohemia is different from the old flower-child hippie.  It’s cleaner, crisper, sleeker and the fabrics are to die for.
